COFFEE AND DONUTS

Do you like meeting new people at church? This ministry serves coffee and donuts after Sunday Mass (except holidays and special days). Bringing people together to socialize and creating community is part of being church. No experience needed, just a willingness to be here.

TRI-COMMUNITY GUILD

Parishioners who come together in the spirit of friendship and love of others, the Guild meets in the Parish Center kitchen on Monday mornings to cut vegetables for the Marian House Soup Kitchen, supports the Food Pantry, makes Rosaries for the Missions and other organizations that request them (over 5,000 per year), bakes cookies for the Food Pantry at Thanksgiving, and during the holiday season donates items (gloves, socks, hats, etc.) to seniors in nursing homes. Guild members also enjoy the camaraderie of trips to Cripple Creek several times a year, and monthly card games. Men and women from all three communities are welcome and invited to join the Guild.

HEALTH MINISTRY

Helping others to identify and integrate their faith as a means to wellness, with a focus on early disease detection and prevention. This ministry encourages patient-involved health care, a whole-person approach to health. It is open to anyone who would like to share their interest and knowledge--which may include blood drives, blood pressure screenings, and presenting health education seminars.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers assist in the main office with various administrative duties--answering phones, typing, filing, compiling newsletters, data entry, and other support needed by the staff. Hours are flexible.

PRAYER CHAIN

This ministry offers up the needs of our community through a network of people in prayer. It is open to any parish member who would like to pray for the intentions of the parishioners who have prayer requests.

SEWING AND MENDING

Anyone who has the ability to sew is invited to volunteer for this ministry. Projects may include making Baptismal robes, banners for church celebrations or decorations for the holidays.

SILVER KEY DRIVERS

Volunteer drivers use Silver Key vans to provide transportation for Senior Citizens to the 9:00 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart. There are two routes used; Seniors interested in a ride to Sunday Mass should contact the Parish Office for information.

SYMPATHY MEALS

Meals are provided for families within the Tri-Community who suffer the loss of a loved one. This ministry relies on volunteers from all three churches, divided into teams that take turns preparing and serving the meals. More volunteers are always needed to support this extremely important ministry.
