Pastoral Care Ministry

“I was sick and you looked after me”  Matthew 25:36

Tri-Community Pastoral Care Ministers, both clergy and lay people, regularly visit and bring Communion to those who are homebound, hospitalized or in nursing homes. Please call the office at (719) 633-8711 if you or someone you know would like to be visited.

This ministry ensures that all parishioners who are homebound, hospitalized or otherwise unable to attend Mass can receive Communion on a regular basis. No prior experience is necessary to be a Pastoral Care Minister, but they must be trained and commissioned Extra-ordinary ministers of Holy Communion. Contact the Pastor.


Prayer Chain

Anyone who feels called to pray for the needs of others is invited to join the Tri-Community Prayer Chain. Parishioners may telephone the Parish Office with prayer requests. All prayer requests are held in the strictest confidence.

BeFriender Ministry

Everyone is, at times, on a difficult journey and needs a caring companion who will listen, empathize, and be a reminder of our caring faith community. BeFrienders provide a listening presence to anyone experiencing grief, loss, transition, or concerns due to illness, divorce, or separation, death of a loved one, job change, or other stressful events. If you, a friend, or a relative would appreciate being contacted, please call the Office at (719) 633-8711. All calls are kept strictly confidential.
