FAITH AND LIGHT
Contact: Bill Walker -- 264-6012
Faith and Light supports persons with developmental disabilities, their families and friends. The goal is to reveal to them their call to share the riches of the heart, their tenderness and their fidelity. Faith and Light supports parents, and helps them to see the inner beauty of their son or daughter and to discover that their child can be a source of life. For others, the path of friendship and commitment with handicapped people is opened up. Holiday celebrations, pilgrimages, dinners and retreats are a part of this ministry. Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Each participating church provides hospitality, temporary housing and some meals while the families seek permanent housing and work. The Tri-Community shelters these families in the former Rectory at Sacred Heart.
